Presentation to Drew

On Saturday 25 January we held a special presentation event for our retiring RYA Principal Drew Pratt.

To a packed hall, Vice Commodore Campbell Calder gave a speech charting Drew's expansive sailing career and his 40 years of service to training at the Cramond Boat Club.

Drew was then presented with a gift from the club marking the occasion. Drew made a speech outlining some of the highlights of his time as principal and wished our training team well for the future.

It was lovely to see members from all age groups represented at the event.

Thanks to Kris Calder and Julie Graham for the catering and bar services and a special mention to Paul Sizeland and his helpers Andy Carr and Pavol Mraz who earlier in the day cleared a fallen tree (victim of storm Éowyn) thereby giving access to the clubhouse and allowing the event to go ahead!
