Keelboat Racing

Keelboat racing takes place at Cramond from April to October on weekends and available evenings. The events may include handicap points series, pursuit series, individual trophy races and long distance races which take place over two tides.

Dinghy Racing

Dinghy racing takes place in the evenings from April to September and at weekends from April until December. The emphasis is on sociable racing and inclusion of dinghy sailors of all abilities. Handicaps are based on Portsmouth Yardstick, adjusted for boats without spinnakers and adjusted for performance to give a fair race for all.

We have a mixed fleet racing encompassing a broad range of dinghy classes. The Club's own dinghy fleet includes RS Teras, Laser Picos, Lasers, a Laser Stratos and a Wayfarer, which are all available for use in club racing by members who are competent to sail.
