Moorings
An artificial bar across the mouth of the River Almond retains a pool of variable depth. Around 40 fore-and-aft moorings are laid by the Club in this pool for members' keelboats, which should normally be no more than 8.5m loa and should be able to take the ground, as many berths dry out at low tide. Applications for moorings should be made to the Moorings Convenor and are allocated at the discretion of the committee.
Guidelines for members on how to manage their moorings can be downloaded here: CBC Moorings Guide 2022.pdf

Winter Lay Up
A limited number of keelboats can be laid up in the dinghy park or on the quayside over the winter. Boats and trailers must be ready for removal by crane-in day to allow for summer usage of this space.
Dinghy Facilities
The Club has an enclosed dinghy park with space for around 40 boats during the summer. After the sailing season, the dinghy park is shared by keelboats and dinghies laid up for the winter.
Storage for trailers, inflatable dinghies and outboard engines is available in the dinghy park and boat shed. Inflatable dinghies are removed from the boat shed by crane-out day to make room for winter storage. Rigid tenders may be padlocked to a chain on the bank to the north of the clubhouse, subject to available space and at owners' own risk. Applications for dinghy park space should be made to the Dinghy Park Convenor.
