After a wash-out on Sunday, seven cruisers got their masts down today using the club mast crane.
Many thanks to all the experienced old hands who ensured that the masts were lowered with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency.

The delayed clear-up of the Dinghy Park finally took place on Saturday 19th June.

Last weekend we had our first work party of the year, clearing debris from the mooring chains.

From 2nd April the workshop and shed are open to allow members to work on their boats.
The clubhouse toilets are not available for use and remain locked for now.

The weather was fine with the wind between F3 & F4 but gusts of F5. As soon as we were out of the river, we could see a lot of people in the water, stretched out between the island and the shore. Due to the proximity of those closest to the shore, at least 4, and the fact that they were still managing to keep going, those much further out were in the greatest danger
