Mark Lifting and Navigation Buoys

On Saturday 30th November Campbell Calder and Chris Callender recovered our race marks for the winter and carried out repairs to one of our river navigation buoys.

This job is usually done in early October but a mixture of poor weather and other commitments meant that we were somewhat delayed this year.

Fortunately on the day, in spite of there being high winds forecast, we had a weather window with very benign and unusually mild conditions for the time of year making the job much easier to complete.
