Driftathon....

Last Saturday 24 February we had our second Free Sail of the season. In-spite of the very light breeze we had an excellent turnout of eleven dinghies and indeed three canoes (chosen by some sailors due to the lack of wind)! As the breeze never arrived the kayakers got the most exercise but the dinghy sailors enjoyed a pleasant drift regardless. Many thanks to our safety boat crew, Lawrie Elliott & Kay McBurney. Our next Free Sail is scheduled for Sunday 10 March, on the water for 1215.
