Sunday Cruiser Race

Three boats (Pegasus II, Seeaway and Exisle) took part in the second race of the Cruiser Weekend series in fresh conditions on Sunday 31st May.

With 15 - 20 knots of wind from the west (and some bigger gusts), all three boats started with reefed sails as they set off to Forth Parts channel marker 14 (near Oxcars) followed by a long beat to channel marker 16 (near Hound Point) before returning to the finish at Cramond.

There was close racing throughout, but at the finish, Exisle (Andy Walker and Howard Royston) was first followed by Pegasus II (Alastair Johnson) and Seeaway (Keith Overstone and Chris Callender).
