Safety Boat Refresher Course

The Safety Boat refresher course held on Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 April was a huge success. Alan Mackenzie, Senior Instructor, lead Saturdays training and Callum Calder, RNLI Instructor, Sundays training. Ben Galloway, John Kenworthy and Drew Pratt also contributed. Many drills were practiced on both days - a special mention has to go to Jennie & Howie Stansfield and Alex Brunner who spent more time in the water than most to help provide rescue scenarios (it was very cold!). Thanks to Alan Mac for the organisation of this event and special thanks to Callum Calder for giving his time and expertise on Sunday - he made it all look easy!

A further session will be held this Friday evening.
