Final Frostbite Races

A hardy bunch of sailors gathered for the final racing of 2024, Frostbite 5. An air temperature of 5 degrees with a chill breeze blowing a F3/4 WSW didn't deter Lawrie Elliott on his Aero, Salty Horse, and Andy Carr on a club Laser battling it out for first and second places respectively in each of the three races.

Further down the field was Steven van Stiphout and his friend Adam on the club Wayfarer, Yellowhammer getting to grips with a double-hander and putting in a good show, particularly in race 3.

Tunde Kersaudy-Kerhoas took on her first race after completing Sea Monkeys Stage 3, in her Mirror dinghy, Calypso. After race one they took a trip to Cramond Island for some shore leave.

Safety boat cover was provided by Howie and Jennie Stansfield, who regretted not bringing a flask of hot coffee!
