Missing Channel Markers

The marker pole at the west end of the river bar (channel marker no. 9 on the chart above) has been reported missing. The metal base is still there, visible at low tide but presenting a hazard at high tide. We hope to replace the pole soon.

Channel marker 6 is also missing, and will be replaced by a green buoy in due course.

Until these markers are replaced, any vessels entering or leaving Cramond should take great care, particularly when crossing the bar.
