Masts Down

After a wash-out on Sunday, seven cruisers got their masts down today (Monday 4th Oct) using the club mast crane.

The weather stayed fine until the last one was finished, but then there was a seasonal downpour while boat owners secured their masts in the horizontal position and returned the boats to their moorings.

Many thanks to all the experienced old hands who helped to ensure that the masts were lowered with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency.

Now we're ready for crane-out on Saturday!
