Club Work Parties

Our Dinghy Park convenor Paul Sizeland organised a very well supported work party on the Sunday morning 9 April after Crane In. Yacht trailers were stored for the summer and dinghies rearranged in the park ready for the start of the season. A considerable amount of tidying took place along with clearing of vegetation round the dinghy park edges.

In the afternoon of Sunday 9th Campbell Calder led a team to lay race marks and navigation buoys. The weather was ideal for this with a light south easterly wind and mild conditions. Many thanks to Drew Pratt, Alan Mackenzie, Ben Galloway, Howie Stansfield and Paul Wilson for their help with this.

On Saturday 15 April we held a further work party with Paul once again directing tidying of the environment round the dinghy park and clubhouse. Campbell as Sailing Dinghy Bosun organised the cleaning and checking of club dinghies in preparation for the start of the season.

All the work parties have been excellently supported by our club members and this is greatly appreciated - a big thank you to all who took part.
