Keelboat racing takes place at Cramond from April to October on weekends and available evenings. The times for these races are listed in the Racing Program pages. The club runs three main types of race: standard points series, pursuit series and a long distance series which takes place over two tides. In addition to these the club organises two regattas: the Mickery Regatta (in conjunction with the Royal Forth and Forth Corinthian Yacht Clubs), and our own Cramond Regatta.

Dinghy racing takes place in the evenings from April to September and at weekends from April until December. The dates and times are listed in the racing programme. The emphasis is on sociable racing and inclusion of dinghy sailors of all abilities. Handicaps are based on Portsmouth Yardstick, adjusted for boats without spinnakers and adjusted for performance to give a fair race for all.

Currently we have a mixed fleet ranging from Toppers to a Flying Dutchman with most people opting for traditional classes such as Lasers and Wayfarers. The club dinghy fleet has 2 Wayfarers, 4 Toppers, 2 Teras, a Laser, a Miracle and an Omega, which are all available for use in club racing by members who are competent to sail. For more information contact the Sailing Secretary or browse the 'Seagull' newsletter and Racing pages of the website to see some of us in action.
