Keelboat racing takes place at Cramond from April to October on weekends and available evenings. The schedule for these races is shown in the Events Calendar. The events may include handicap points series, pursuit series and a long distance series which takes place over two tides.
Dinghy racing takes place in the evenings from April to September and at weekends from April until December. The dates and times are listed in the Events Calendar. The emphasis is on sociable racing and inclusion of dinghy sailors of all abilities. Handicaps are based on Portsmouth Yardstick, adjusted for boats without spinnakers and adjusted for performance to give a fair race for all.
We have a mixed fleet ranging from Toppers to Wayfarers. The Club's own dinghy fleet includes Toppers, RS Teras, Lasers, Laser Picos, an Omega and a Wayfarer, which are all available for use in club racing by members who are competent to sail.
